How To Smoke a Turkey

Here is an easy how to smoke a turkey action plan.

First, I run the smoker in the temperature range of 220 degrees F to 240 degrees F.

The next step is the turkey. A 12-16 pound turkey will be good. A big part of how to smoke a turkey is the cooking time. Plan on 30 to 40 minutes per pound. If you do pick up a frozen turkey always follow the instructions for defrosting.

While learning how to smoke a turkey you will need the following: a smoker, a good meat thermometer, a good hardwood like cherry or apple, charcoal, and patience.

Smoked Chicken Pizza on the BBQ

1 Twelve-inch pizza dough
2 Boneless chicken breasts
1 tbsp Olive oil
2 tsp Minced garlic
1 tbsp Ground mustard
1 tbsp Chili powder
2 tsp Grated fresh ginger
3 c Ketchup
1 c Light brown sugar
2 oz Balsamic vinegar
1/2 c Worcestershire sauce
6 oz Mozzarella cheese
2 tbsp Sesame oil
1 sm Red onion; julienned
2 oz Molasses
1/4 c Chiffonade of basil

Season the chicken breast with olive oil and spices.
